Who is this course for?
Anyone who has responsibility for maintaining or overseeing the SCR. This may include administrative staff, Headteachers, DSLs and governors/trustees
Schools and colleges by law must maintain a single central record of pre-appointment checks. The single central record is also a key part of evidence that inspectors will look at when inspecting a school’s approach to safeguarding.
This course will increase your knowledge and understanding of pre-employment checks and recording requirements of the SCR in line with the statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’
